I aim for each session/wedding to be unique and different. However, since I travel across the country to photograph my clients there is a common thread to my images, capturing each individual client and their story in the beautiful places that are meaningful to them.
Whether it be the breathtaking Rocky Mountains or the historic streets of Charleston, these places and moments are images my clients want to remember many years later.
Whether it’s the excitement of a new engagement, the celebration of marriage, or a moment in your family’s lives that you want to captured, I love them all! Each a part of the amazing adventure called life!
1 // I specialize in Sunday weddings because I am a Seventh-day Adventist and observe Saturday as Sabbath. Sessions can be scheduled Sunday to Friday.
2 // While Chattanooga is home base you'll find me around the country each year for weddings. If you are interested in a session and not local to Chattanooga, get in touch. There is a chance I might be coming to your area or a place you love to vacation.
3// There are so many occasions in life that deserve to be documented and remembered always. When not doing weddings and engagement sessions I stay busy photographing families, children, high school and college seniors, back to school photos, holiday sessions, birthdays and anniversaries.
The little things, the details that truly tell your unique story.
This whole journey as a photographer was so unplanned. Graduating from college I had every intention of getting a teaching job. But God had something else in store for me... My little college sideline job of lifestyle photography sessions turned into a steady cliental base. I decided to take a year and pursue it, see if I could make a successful business out of it. While business was going well, in the following months the time came to begin planning for the next school year. I love children and enjoy teaching AND have a passion for photography. So I placed the decision in God's hands in November 2011 by asking Him to send me a teaching job for the next school year or 5 weddings that summer.
The inquires for wedding photography started coming in. I'll never forget the feeling of gratefulness and peace that came after hanging up with my 5th wedding client inquiry. God had given me direction and answered my request. He even went beyond and sent 11 weddings for that summer.
Since then God has continued to guide and lead my photography business. It's been quite the journey. I have grown, I have doubted, but I am learning to trust His plan for my life, a plan that has been beyond my wildest dreams!
